Content Contributions FAQ

We invite our students, alumni, faculty, and staff to post their work, relevant announcements, events, features, and opportunities to our MICA Photo website!  Community members and employers seeking employees and interns are welcome to post listings as well!

Below are PDFs to walk you through the different types of Content Contributions and which to use for your purpose—including uploading images or galleries.

Please resize your images for web and make sure authoring and copyright is in the metadata. Adding Copyright and Contact Information to Photographs in Lightroom

Posts should display by the next business day after submission. You will be contacted via email if any issues regarding your contribution arise.

Announcement: Lost/Found Items, Buying/Selling Equipment, Weather

Event: Receptions, Shows, Art Markets; anything tied to specific dates and times 

Feature: Show reviews, student projects, interviews; use to combine image and text.

Opportunity: Scholarships, grants, calls-for-entry, job or internship listings; use for any opportunity with a deadline. For opportunities with rolling deadlines, please date out at least a few years.

Resource: Please speak to a staff member before adding resources.

Student Work: Single file with one title of current or past student work.
